Syncs allow users to connect data from a data warehouse to a destination and easily share and collaborate on data with the whole team.

To create a sync, first set up a dataset. A dataset is defined by a SQL query that can be created using SQL, Natural Language, the visual query builder, or created from an external source (Snowflake, dbt, etc.).

Once the dataset is created, it can easily be found in the library page.

Select the correct dataset and then choose a destination for the sync. Supported sync destinations include:

After choosing the destination and authenticating, you can view and validate the data to ensure it is in the correct format. You can also use the visual query builder to filter, add and remove columns, rename columns, and sort data.

Finally, choose how you want the data to be updated. You can choose a one-time update, an interval (e.g. every hour), or a schedule (e.g. every Monday and Friday at 9AM EST).
